Ordering and Delivery information
Telephone orders and Cheque payments
We offer a secure e-commerce facility that takes online
credit and debit card payments. If you would prefer not
to use this method for whatever reason, you may telephone
your order and pay by credit or debit card. Alternatively,
please send a cheque, made payable to Longridge, to the
address given on the contact page (and at the bottom of
this page), clearly showing which items you wish to order
and adding the correct level of post and packing as detailed
below.
We can now take online payments in GBP (£ sterling), EUR (€)
and USD ($). If you wish to use a different currency, please contact the Longridge office (contact details) before placing your order to confirm post and packing costs and delivery arrangements.
If you wish to discuss your order, to decide which Longridge
System is best suited to your needs or you have any other
queries, please telephone us on 01983 874121 (+44 1983 874121 if outside the UK) and we shall
be delighted to help.
We provide a personal service to our customers with a
real person on the end of the telephone - no numbers to
press! The office is normally open from 9am to 5 pm (British time), Monday
to Friday. At all other times, there is a 24 hour answering
service where you can leave a message, which we shall
respond to.
Safety
The
blades used to cut mountboard are sharp and care
should always be exercised when using any mountcutting
equipment. The Longridge bevel mountcutter blade
retracts into the cutter housing when not in
use and the vertical cutter is supplied with
a blade guard/parking rest. However, care is
still necessary and mountcutters are not suitable
for use by children. |
No quibble guarantee
If you not happy with any Longridge product, for whatever
reason, please return it within 14 days and we will refund
the full product price without question. This does not,
of course, affect your statutory rights in any way.

UK
Blades or pencils only, please add £3.00
Orders up to £34.99, please add £5.00
Orders over £35.00, please add £10.00
Europe
Blades or pencils only, please add €5.00
Orders up to €49.99, please add €10.00
Orders over €50.00, please add €35.00.
USA
Blades or pencils only, please add $10.00
Orders up to $69.99, please add $15.00
Orders over $70, please add $50.00.
Delivery
We handle all orders
personally and guarantee despatch within 7 days though
normally we do much better than that, frequently despatching
orders next working day.
UK - mainland
Orders under £30 are sent by first class post. All orders
over £30 are sent by a carrier next working day delivery
service and must be signed for on arrival.

Please ensure that you provide a delivery address where someone
will be available to receive, and sign for, your
order. If this is not possible, please let us
know and collection can usually be arranged from
a local collection depot.

We can accept instructions to deliver to a neighbour
etc if this is included on the original order - in
the area labelled 'Special delivery instructions'.
If it is not possible for you to arrange for
your mountcutter to be signed for, our carrier will
return it to their depot, leaving notice that they
were unable to deliver it. It can then either be redelivered
at a mutually convenient time or collected from the
carrier's local depot. Unfortunately it is not possible
to arrange depot collection before first attempting
delivery.
UK – Northern Ireland and Islands
For all non mainland areas of the UK, eg Northern Ireland,
the Shetlands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands etc, orders
are sent by Royal Mail/Parcel Force and may take 3-5 days
for delivery.
Mainland Europe and USA
Delivery is by Royal Mail small packet/international standard airmail post or carrier depending upon item and delivery address. Please allow 7-10 working days from date of despatch of order.

Privacy policy
Under no circumstances whatsoever, do we ever pass on
any details of either our customers or of those on our
newsletter mailing list to any third parties. This includes
