Longridge mountboard is made from top quality materials and manufactured in Great Britain, from systainable forest sources to the highest environmental standards.
It is a true conservation quality board, which is acid free - not ph neutral or neutralised, but no acid at all in the board nor in the manufacturing process. The core of this mountboard is alpha celulose wood pulp, lignin free and all the colours are both fade and bleed resistance.
This quality is commonly called library, conservation or museum grade mountboard.
The mountboard is 1.4mm thick, the most practical thickness and made with a moisture contect of 55% which is substantially maintained by the moisture barrier wrapping.
